Aloha to my TWA family. I know it’s been two good weeks since I last updated you on something new. My bad. I’ve been met with school pressure and few other things that kept me away from my blog. This isn’t going to be the case again. Anyway, Ever heard of Lansdown resort in Aburi? Well I made my way there this Saturday together with some friends.
We only knew the resort is located in Aburi but as to where exactly in Aburi it is, we had no idea. So we keyed in Lansdown resort on google map trusting it to take us there rather, we ended up at the Aburi botanical gardens😄. This reminds me of Francis, a friend from Zimbabwe who ended up in the middle of nowhere(in a bush) while relying on google map to get him from Kakum national park to Axim.
At this moment we found it necessary to call the resort’s helpline, lucky enough, the call went through and they directed us back to Ketuase junction. It’s the junction leading to the resort, once you get there ask any of the taxi drivers around and they’ll direct you. The road to the resort from the junction is a different adventure, it’s 5km drive on a rough road with inadequate signage directing cars to the hotel. I wouldn’t want to be driving through this street alone at night.
The moment I arrived at the resort, I forgot about the bad road leading here. The resort looks absolutely beautiful, with greens everywhere and amazing views to keep your eyes engaged. Their bar is just overlooking the valley and the large infinity pool will make you want to dive deep. Lots of good food to choose from the menu and their cocktails will compete any fancy bar across the globe. Three glasses of Mojitos stopped me from diving into the pool earlier. Did I mention the service was A class?.
Too bad spending the night over was not in our plan, I bet it would have given me a chance to better explore the resort and give you a full review of the hotel rooms. Couldn’t have left without walking into that pool though. Ooooh how I wish I made it there a little earlier. But I promise to be back here soon. Well, here’s a link to their facebook page if you want to get in touch.
