I’ve always wanted to learn a new language(French particularly) which I was taught during my high school days. I had the basics and could understand a bit but you all will agree with me that,  If you don’t keep up while learning, you’ll forget most of what you learn so that’s exactly what happened to me after 7 years of not keeping up with it(it’s too much right?). In as much as I wanted to learn new language, I didn’t make it a priority until I found myself wanting when I got busted in Lome for photography. It was at that point that I made it a priority to learn the language.

It’s been a month and 2 weeks since I started the French lesson and I’m picking up fast. Checkout 23 of the French travel words I learnt which I might probably use 2weeks from now in Cotonu.

Je suis perdu – am not looking forward to using this one but should if things don’t go too well and you or I have to use it, then you can add S’il vous plaît and Pouvez-vous m’aider? to form a sentence like … S’il vous plaît madame je suis perdu, Pouvez-vous m’aider? This means, please madame I’m lost, can you help me?

We can also use BonjourJe chercheNourriteurUn restaurant, Acheter to sound like this …. Bonjour madame je cherche un restaurant pour acheter de la nourriture. This means hello madame, I am looking for a restaurant to buy food.
