Paris allows itself to be promoted as the city of love, and who can deny that? No doubt though that a map of romantic destinations across the globe is incomplete without Paris. It really is a city for lovers, for strolls along the Seine, sipping coffee at a café, and for picture-perfect moments in romantic neighborhoods like Montmartre. . Then there’s the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower lit up at night, and the many gardens like the Jardin du Luxembourg. In Paris, love is in the air everywhere you look around, this is why Paris makes it on the list of places I want to travel in my lifetime.
Venice is one city that is famous especially for scenes of breathtaking and romantic experiences. The city of narrow cobblestoned streets, graceful palazzi, sleek gondolas and, of course, Casanova is a time-honored setting for amore. Any trip to Venice would be incomplete without a gondola ride. Make sure to add to the list of must-dos while you’re there. What can be more romantic than a gondola ride down a canal, or a walk over narrow bridges, getting lost through narrow lanes, and ending up at monumental squares? If you’re not yet in love, you will be.
Gotta include the Caribbean, right?! The magnificent volcanic peaks known as the Pitons, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are among the most arresting natural sights you’ll see in the Caribbean.
